Funchal City Hall to install shelters at the new stop on Largo do Pelourinho

Funchal City Hall will proceed with the installation of shelters at the new public transport stop located on Largo do Pelourinho.

This decision follows the City Council meeting held today, where other measures to support the population were approved.

In parallel, the municipality of Funchal announced an increase of more than 20% in Higher Education Scholarships. The announcement was made by the municipal president, Jorge Carvalho, after the same council meeting.

The total investment for this educational support is 2.2 million euros, representing an amount cumulative with other support already existing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
