The Ministry of Defense positively received Pedro Sánchez's announcement regarding the intention to declassify all intelligence documents prior to the massive immigrant entry into Ceuta, according to sources from that department led by Margarita Robles. These sources stated that the minister's intention was already to report on the matter through an appearance before the Official Secrets Committee.
However, there continues to be a clash of versions between the different parties. Regarding Defense, the position remains that there were prior alerts warning about the movements that resulted in the avalanche of entries on July 30 and 31.
These alerts specifically referred to the movements that led to the entry of up to 72,000 people during those two days, according to the same sources from the Ministry of Defense.
