The Government of the Portuguese Republic renewed the executive portal on the Internet and launched an official channel on WhatsApp. This initiative aims to modernize institutional communication and bring government services closer to citizens through digital platforms.

On the new official channel of the Portuguese Republic on WhatsApp, it will be possible to follow the main highlights and receive selected information about Government activity. The service allows users to access relevant news and governance updates in a more direct and convenient way.

This expansion to WhatsApp complements the renewed executive portal, offering multiple communication channels between the government and the Portuguese population. The measure is part of a trend toward digitization of public services and approaching the communication platforms most used by citizens.
