André Ventura, leader of the Chega party, will proceed with a motion of censure against the Government. The initiative has already been submitted to the Assembly of the Republic.
The motion comes in the wake of the controversies involving the Minister of Internal Administration, Luis Neves.
This is not the first time André Ventura has presented motions of censure against the executive, although the previous ones were not approved. The Chega party has been one of the main opposition parties to the current Government.
The motion will be debated and voted on in the Assembly of the Republic, where Chega has significant parliamentary representation.
