Bloco de Esquerda questioned the Government about an environmental project related to the mineral exploration planned for the municipality of Peniche, in the district of Leiria.
The party raises concerns about the risks associated with this exploration, namely the danger of contamination of the region's water resources. This position comes following doubts raised by the party about the environmental impacts of the project.
