From school at 7am until 8pm: there are increasingly more municipalities extending schedules to help parents

Half of Portuguese municipalities already provide supervision for Pre-School and First Cycle children until the end of the day, in an effort to help working parents. School schedules are being extended, with children remaining in educational establishments from 7am to 8pm. This extension of schedules allows parents to balance professional life with family responsibilities. The article indicates that an increasing number of municipalities are joining this practice, making it an increasingly common solution in Portugal.
