From school at 7am until 8pm: there are increasingly more municipalities extending schedules to help parents

More and more Portuguese municipalities are extending school supervision schedules for children, with some operating from 7am to 8pm to support working parents.

Half of the country's municipalities already provide this extended supervision until the end of the day for preschool and primary school children.

This measure aims to meet the needs of Portuguese families, allowing greater flexibility in organizing parents' work schedules.
