The majority of readers who voted in the GLOBO-Barra survey about the biggest problems in Jacarepaguá point to mobility as the main challenge in the region. The difficulty of getting around leads the ranking among the nine alternatives available in the vote.
The Jacarepaguá region covers several neighborhoods, including Jacarepaguá itself, Taquara, Tanque, Freguesia, Curicica, Anil, Gardênia Azul, Praça Seca, Pechincha and Cidade de Deus. Voting is still open and the result may change until 6 PM on Friday.
The winning topic of the survey will give rise to numerous reports from GLOBO-Barra, with in-depth coverage of the causes and possible solutions to the problem.
The other alternatives in the survey include theft, confrontations between criminal factions, flooding, conservation of public spaces, environmental degradation and other topics. The resulting coverage will feature the views of residents, experts and representatives of public authorities on the winning topic.
