Several municipalities face maximum rural fire danger. In the Guarda region, the municipality of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo is at maximum risk. In the district of Santarém, Sardoal and Mação are the most vulnerable municipalities. In the district of Portalegre, Nisa and Gavião are also at maximum danger.
In the Algarve, rural fire risk is particularly high in several municipalities. Monchique, Portimão, Silves, Loulé, Tavira, and São Brás de Alportel, all in the district of Faro, are at maximum rural fire danger, requiring strict prevention measures and heightened surveillance.
