The revelation of conversations between Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), and Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, reignited on social media the right's discourse for the minister's impeachment. The theme, which had already been used as a rallying cry by candidates connected to Bolsonaroism, began to be explored with greater intensity in the last 24 hours through videos and interviews, and also became a call for the September 7th protests across the country.
Presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro (PL) has been exploring the theme since Tuesday, when he defended in the Senate that "the impeachment process of Moraes must be immediately initiated." His brother, former federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro, is also involved in the movement.
Senator Davi Alcolumbre came to the defense of Minister Alexandre de Moraes and rebutted Flavio Bolsonaro's criticisms, stating that "now being guilty of R$ 130 million for a film only applies to Moraes," in reference to an accusation against the parliamentarian.
The Attorney General of the Republic requested the dismissal of Vorcaro's report about alleged threats, arguing that the banker did not present concrete facts that would justify the investigation.
