GNR deteve suspeito de tráfico e apreendeu 400 quilos de cocaína em Setúbal

The GNR's Coastal and Border Control Unit (UCCF) seized today in Setúbal approximately 400 kilos of cocaine during a police operation. The drug was intercepted as part of an alleged drug landing operation.

Authorities detained a man suspected of involvement in the case. The suspect was captured during the operation carried out by the GNR in that area of the country.

The seizure of 400 kilos of cocaine represents one of the largest quantities of drugs intercepted by the GNR recently. The operation took place in Setúbal, a region frequently used for drug landings coming from abroad.

The GNR reported on the operation, disclosing the results of the Coastal and Border Control Unit's action in combating drug trafficking.
