1,127 dead and 4,850 missing in Nepal floods

One week after the floods that hit northern and central Nepal, the death toll rose to 1,127 dead and 4,850 missing. Among the dead are at least 77 children.

Nepalese authorities have already rescued 6,541 people, including 580 foreigners. Among the missing are 583 foreign citizens, including two Spaniards.
