PSP is investigating a robbery at the Chaves Registry Office during which 500 Citizen Cards and 200 passports were stolen. The robbers also managed to get money from two safes and two white stamps. Authorities are now trying to identify those responsible for the crime and trace the whereabouts of the stolen documents, which can be used for identity fraud purposes.
