A 34-year-old British woman was murdered with scissors at an aparthotel in Albufeira. The crime occurred recently and involved a cutting instrument as the weapon.

The victim's partner was detained at the scene by the National Republican Guard (GNR) immediately after the crime occurred. The authorities arrested the suspect at the scene of the facts.

The couple's minor daughter witnessed the attack that resulted in her mother's death. Due to this traumatic situation, the minor was removed from the scene and is now under temporary care, with psychological support being provided.
