The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) determined on Wednesday (2) the precautionary ban of still mineral water from the Vitoriosa brand. The decision was made after a report issued by the Central Public Health Laboratory Noel Nutels (Lacen/RJ) presented an unsatisfactory result in the microbiological test, with detection of total coliforms in 250ml of the product.
The product should not be consumed or commercialized until its safety is proven. The manufacturer of the item is the company GEPF Agroindústria Ltda, located in the municipality of Engenheiro Paulo de Frontin, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, with CNPJ 08.144.303/0001-90.
Resolution 3.441/2026, which establishes the precautionary ban, was published in the Official Gazette of the Union this Wednesday. The measure is preventive and temporary, with the objective of protecting the health of the population, and will remain in effect while new tests, proofs, and analyses are carried out to verify the safety of the product.
