Images show destruction after US attack in southern Iran

Images released by Iranian media and the Red Crescent on Wednesday show the damage caused by a US attack on a house where a wedding was taking place, in Kuhestak, in southern Iran. The photographs reveal the partial destruction of the hit dwelling.

The attack caused at least five dead, among whom a child. In addition, 68 people were injured as a result of the incident.

The attack allegedly targeted positions used by the extremist group Islamic State in the region, although the action caused civilian casualties during the wedding celebration.
