The Public Prosecutor's Office filed a motion requesting the application of preventive custody for a man suspected of sexually abusing his 10-year-old stepdaughter. The case is taking place in the district of Aveiro, with the suspect to be heard by the Judicial Court of Águeda.
The sexual crimes against the child are believed to have been committed in the family home. The man was the minor's stepfather, living in the same house as the victim.
