From September 15th, certain heavy goods vehicles are prohibited from circulating on the Inner Ring Road (VCI) in Porto, on weekdays between 7am and 9pm. The restriction applies to vehicles with gross weight exceeding 3,500 kg, three or more axles, and height equal to or greater than 1.1 meters, generally covering toll classes 3 and 4. The objective is to divert through heavy traffic to the Porto Outer Regional Circular (CREP), where the same vehicles benefit from toll exemptions. Vehicles with loading or unloading operations in Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia can circulate upon prior authorization obtained through a digital platform. Circulating without authorization constitutes a minor offense punished with a fine between 150 and 750 euros.

Kering Italy has new CEO
