Prison officers from the Search and Recapture Division (Recap) arrested Robson Pereira Guimarães on Tuesday in Belford Roxo, in Baixada Fluminense. The man was sentenced to more than 29 years in prison for drug trafficking and robbery crimes. After being located through intelligence data gathering and monitoring, he tried to flee when he saw the agents, climbing onto the roof of a house, but was caught by the teams.
According to the State Secretariat of Prison Police (Seppen), Robson escaped in March of this year, when he was granted the Periodic Family Visit benefit and did not return to the prison unit within the time limit set by the Court. The criminal still has more than 10 years of sentence to be served.
In total, Robson has six criminal records, with passages also for theft. Against him, an arrest warrant was executed.
