Prison officers from the Search and Recapture Division (Recap) arrested on Tuesday Robson Pereira Guimarães, a man sentenced to more than 29 years in prison for the crimes of drug trafficking and robbery. The arrest was carried out in Belford Roxo, in Baixada Fluminense, after data intelligence and monitoring conducted by the teams.

When he noticed the agents approaching, Robson tried to flee by climbing onto the roof of his own house, but was reached by the police teams and captured. The criminal has six criminal records, including arrests for theft, and still has more than 10 years of sentence to be served.

According to the State Secretariat of Prison Police (Seppen), Robson escaped in March this year after receiving the Periodic Family Visit benefit, when he should have returned to the prison unit within the deadline set by the Court, but did not do so.
