Algarve Marafado2 September 2026 at 15:19

The Spanish company Alfana Investment Management acquired the Forum Algarve shopping centre, located in Faro, in a deal valued at around 130 million euros. This transaction represents one of the largest operations in the commercial real estate sector in the Algarve region in recent years.

The Forum Algarve is one of the main shopping centres in the southern region of Portugal, serving both the local population and the tourist flow that visits the Algarve annually. Its location in Faro, the capital of the region, makes it a strategic point for commercial activities.

The acquisition was reported by the Algarve Marafado portal, which highlighted the size of the investment made by the Spanish company in the Portuguese real estate market. This operation fits within a context of growing interest from international investors in the commercial sector in Portugal.

The value of 130 million euros reflects the importance of the real estate asset and the attractiveness of the Algarve market for foreign investments in the shopping centre segment.
