Évora is preparing to host Bikévora 2026, a three-week event entirely dedicated to the bicycle, promoted by the local council and running from September 6 to 27. The program aims to revitalize the Alentejo city through activities related to sustainable mobility, sport and family gatherings, covering participants of all ages.
The official kickoff is scheduled for September 6, with a Cycling Marathon held at 1st of May Square, between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM. This inaugural activity promises to be the highlight of a calendar that also includes several other bicycle-related initiatives.
Bikévora 2026 is part of a municipal strategy to promote more sustainable modes of transport and to enhance Évora's natural and urban heritage, positioning the city as a friendly destination for cycling enthusiasts and families.
