NELAS: Sport takes center stage at the 35th Dão Wine Fair with tournaments, walks and sporting events

The 35th edition of the Dão Wine Fair, which takes place in Nelas between September 4th and 6th, once again includes a program dedicated to sport, an initiative that aims to highlight various sports during the event. The event, which is mostly known for the promotion of the wines from the Dão region, has been including sport as a complementary part of its programming. The planned sporting activities include tennis, football and futsal tournaments, as well as cycling events, walks and motorcycle rides. This diversity of sports aims to attract different audiences to the fair, combining the wine tradition of the region with a recreational and competitive program that involves both local athletes and visitors. Sport thus takes on a prominent role in this year's edition, reinforcing the organizers' commitment to diversifying the fair's offer beyond the gastronomic and cultural components.
