Crédito Agrícola has entered into a partnership with Helexia Portugal, a company specialized in energy efficiency and decarbonization solutions, to support companies in carrying out energy transition projects. The partnership is integrated into Crédito Agrícola's Net Zero Transition Plan.

Sérgio Raposo Frade, President of the Grupo Crédito Agrícola, highlighted that the energy transition represents a strategic opportunity for companies to increase their efficiency and competitiveness, reinforcing the bank's commitment to supporting clients in the investments necessary to meet the challenges of decarbonization. Luís Pinho, Country Director Portugal at Helexia, stated that the partnership enables the creation of more favorable conditions for companies to move forward with energy transition projects, combining access to financing with specialized support.

Under the agreement, Crédito Agrícola clients benefit from discounts of up to 15% on Helexia's Engineering and Project Management fee, applicable to projects involving photovoltaic solutions, energy storage, electric mobility and energy efficiency.

In turn, Helexia clients who use Crédito Agrícola to finance these investments can obtain specific conditions, including a reduction of up to 10% on the spread compared to the current rate and a 20% discount on credit opening fees.
