Complaints against fuel networks and stations registered on Portal da Queixa rose by 84.21% in the first eight months of 2026. A total of 665 complaints were registered between January and August, compared to 361 in the same period of the previous year. In just eight months, the sector was just two complaints short of the 667 registered throughout all of 2025.
Discounts, points and vouchers that do not reach the customer lead the complaints. The reasons for dissatisfaction have changed, with campaigns and promotions occupying a central place in consumer complaints.
The data was released by the Portal da Queixa platform this Tuesday, revealing significant growth in the number of complaints related to the fuel sector.
