The European Commission approved State aid to the Portuguese agricultural sector worth 30 million euros. The scheme was approved under the Temporary Framework for State Aid relating to the Middle East Crisis.
This international crisis caused an increase in fuel and fertilizer prices, directly affecting the agricultural sector in Portugal.
