Israel's Police arrested today three Israeli settlers on suspicion of having participated in extremist acts of violence against Palestinian communities. The arrests occurred in the region near Hebron, in the south of the occupied West Bank.

The three suspects were arrested as part of an investigation into violent attacks carried out against Palestinian populations living in that area of the occupied West Bank.

The Hebron region has frequently been the scene of tensions between Israeli settlers and local Palestinian communities, with recurring reports of violence and confrontations.

This police action comes in a broader context of efforts by Israeli authorities to contain episodes of extremist violence committed by settlers against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank.
