The overall death toll from the floods in Nepal has risen to over 1,060 dead and 4,500 missing. The devastating flash flood struck the north of the country, on the border with the Chinese region of Tibet, nearly a week ago. Authorities continue search and rescue efforts as the number of victims continues to rise.
