Thailand reduces visa-free stays to 30 days for EU tourists

Thailand announced a significant change in visa policy for tourists from European Union countries. Starting September 15, travelers from EU member countries will have their permitted length of stay in the country cut in half.

Before this change, EU tourists could stay in Thailand for up to 60 days without needing a visa. With the new measure, this period will be reduced to 30 days.

The decision directly affects millions of European travelers who visit Thailand annually, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Southeast Asia. The reduction in the visa-free stay period may impact travel plans that require a longer stay in the country.
