Music returns to Parque Urbano de Viana with a programming that includes jazz, classical music, and world music proposals. The shows start at 6:30 PM.

On Friday, the 5th, Guitolão & Contrabaixo performs, a project that presents the guitolão, a musical instrument developed by luthier Gilberto Grácio for Carlos Paredes. There are only two examples of this instrument in the world.

On Saturday, the 6th, it's the turn of G-Project to take the park's stage, thus completing another edition of this cultural initiative in the city.

Sameice celebrates Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of Help between September 5 and 9

Alverca: Over 3,400 spectators at Cegada's performances

The 13th edition of Noites no Largo do Pelourinho, in Alverca do Ribatejo, ended on August 7th with over 3,400 spectators, attracting 3,456 people over eight nights at Praça João Mantas. The initiative's programming, promoted by the Cegada company, crossed fado, jazz, and Lusophone and Cape Verdean music, featuring national and international artists such as Adam Ben Ezra, Rogério Charraz, and O Bordão Cabo-Verdiano. The event also had an impact on the demand for the Municipal Museum, which received 306 visitors during the concert nights. The programming director highlights that the audience response confirms the initiative's relevance to the community, while the artistic director emphasizes the role of culture in enhancing the historic center. Cegada is now preparing the return of the Teatro Estúdio Ildefonso Valério programming in September and the premiere of a new original creation in November.
