Medieval Market of Valença starts this Friday

The Medieval Market of Valença takes place from September 4 to 6, at the Fortress of Valença. This is a traditional event that recreates the atmosphere and daily life of the medieval era, providing three days of history, tradition, entertainment and experiences for the whole family.

This year, the event will specifically recreate the presence of Duarte de Armas in Valença, in 1509, giving special focus to this historical figure.

For visitors, it will be possible to see the streets occupied by merchants, artisans, musicians, knights and medieval characters, in a program that combines tradition, culture and entertainment.

Entry to the Medieval Market is free.
