Mário Rebelo Sousa Presents "Histórias de Vida" at the Caminha Museum

The exhibition "Histórias de Vida" (Life Stories), by visual artist Mário Rebelo de Sousa, was inaugurated yesterday at the Municipal Museum of Caminha. The showcase brings together a set of works representative of the creative journey of one of the most recognized artists in the region.

Mário Rebelo de Sousa, a native of Vila Praia de Âncora, began his artistic career in a self-taught manner and built, over more than 50 years, a singular body of work marked by creative freedom, experimentation, and a constant reinvention of reality. His work is mostly associated with the Surrealist style.

The exhibition can be visited at the Municipal Museum of Caminha until October 11, 2026, Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM. On Saturdays, it operates from 9 AM to 1 PM. Entry is free.
