Mohammadreza Naqdi, advisor to the commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, declared that the country could carry out attacks on "Wall Street, Manhattan and anywhere, at any time" in the context of a war with the United States, mentioning the concept of "asymmetric warfare."
Naqdi stated that, until now, Iran has been fighting a conventional war against the United States and has not yet engaged in asymmetric warfare, suggesting that this would be a possible future escalation if the conflict intensified.
According to the ISNA news agency, the advisor emphasized that Iran's priority is neither war nor negotiations, but rather establishing deterrence. He also declared that it would not be in the United States' interest to get involved in another major war.
Naqdi also commented on Iranian military facilities that were damaged during previous conflicts, stating that they have been rebuilt in safer locations and are now operational with more modern technology and higher production rates.
