The University of Évora offers 277 places in the second phase of the higher education access competition, distributed across bachelor's degrees and integrated master's programs. Among the courses with the most places are Biochemistry, Oenology, and Psychology, each with 14 places, followed by Biotechnology, Mechatronics Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science with 13 places each. Nursing has 12 places available.
The Polytechnic Institute of Beja offers 262 places, with Computer Engineering being the course with the highest number of places, 53 in total, followed by Agronomy with 47. Tourism has 25 places, Food Science and Technology has 24, Business Management has 20, and Nursing has 8.
The Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre enters this phase with 269 places, with Basic Education standing out with 39 places and Computer Engineering with 24. Veterinary Nursing has 17 places, while Tourism and Chemical and Biological Engineering each have 15 places. Nursing has 12 places.
Across the three public institutions of Alentejo, 808 official places are available in this phase of the competition. This number may be subject to changes, as DGES anticipates the possibility of additional places being made available. Applications for the second phase end on September 20.
