OE2026: State surplus falls to 282 million euros

The Portuguese State's surplus fell to 282 million euros, according to the State Budget for 2026 (OE2026).

This evolution was influenced by increases in the balances of other public entities. Social Security recorded a balance of 1,200.9 million euros, Local Administration presented a balance of 198 million euros, and Regional Administration reached a balance of 62 million euros.
