North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has once again reshaped the country's military leadership with a series of significant changes in command positions within the armed forces. The alterations include the restructuring of both the Central Military Commission and the Defense Ministry.

Park Jong-chon, considered one of the strongmen of the North Korean army, was once again appointed as vice president of the country's Central Military Commission. This marks a return to a position of high relevance within the North Korean military structure.

The reshuffling also extended to the Defense Ministry, which is now led by Kim Song-gi. This official previously held the position of head of the military politburo, indicating a significant promotion within the country's military power hierarchy.
