The Évora_27 programming, European Capital of Culture, continues in September with initiatives in several municipalities of Central Alentejo. The month starts with the community meeting "À mesa é que a gente se entende", which takes place on September 3rd, at six in the evening, at Casa do Povo dos Canaviais, in Évora. This meeting is the first activity of the month and aims to promote fellowship and dialogue among participants.
Two days later, on September 5th, an open studio of the project "Terracronia" takes place, with artist Maria Ana Vasco Costa. The session takes place at six in the evening at Oficinas do Convento, also in Évora, and allows the public to learn about the artistic work developed within the scope of this project.
Évora_27 is the European Capital of Culture, a status that gives international prominence to the city of Évora and the Central Alentejo region. Throughout 2027, the cultural program includes community gatherings, theater, performances and various other artistic activities spread across several municipalities in the region.
