Tomorrow, September 16th, a Collaboration Protocol will be signed between the Instituto Português de Oncologia de Coimbra (IPO de Coimbra), the Rotary Club Coimbra Saúde, and Charity Flyers. The objective of this protocol is to create a Sensory Garden at the facilities of IPO de Coimbra.
The project is part of the initiatives planned by the Hospital Humanization Group, which aims to improve the environment and experience of patients in hospital facilities. The Sensory Garden will be a space dedicated to providing sensory experiences for the users of IPO.
This protocol represents a collaboration between three distinct entities: an oncology institution, a Rotary service club, and a volunteer organization. The partnership aims to implement a project that will contribute to the well-being of patients during their treatment at IPO de Coimbra.
