Minister Flávio Dino, of the Supreme Federal Court, criticized the decision of the Court president, Edson Fachin, to take over the rapporteurship of actions related to the Banco Master case that were under the responsibility of Minister André Mendonça. Dino reported that he asked the senior minister of the STF, Minister Gilmar Mendes, to take the necessary measures to restore compliance with the Constitution, the law, and the Court's Internal Rules.
Dino says he identified irregularities in the conduct of the process by the STF Presidency. The minister states that Fachin assumed several actions without proper redistribution and that this procedure would contravene the Constitution and the Internal Rules, because this avocation does not exist.
With this request, the trials related to those involved in the Master case were postponed to next week, on the 23rd. During the session, Dino had already criticized Fachin's actions and stated that the STF president cannot remove a rapporteur.
