Pedro Rodrigues defended on Tuesday that the response to the housing problem in Madeira will have to continue to rely on strong public investment, beyond the Recovery and Resilience Plan. The official spoke during the PSD/Madeira Parliamentary Days, where he presented his position on housing policies in the Region.
The politician also emphasized the need to create conditions that allow mobilizing the private sector and the cooperative sector to increase the housing supply in Madeira. This approach aims to complement public investment with the participation of other economic agents.
Pedro Rodrigues emphasized that the housing challenge in the autonomous region requires an integrated strategy, combining public and private resources. This position comes in the context of the party's discussions on political priorities for Madeira.
