The Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special edition that makes 40 Brazilian films available for free on the internet between September 13 and 30, 2026. The online program is open to viewers from anywhere in the world, upon free registration on the inffinito.plus platform. The screenings have set times and are not available on demand throughout the period.
The festival held its in-person season in Miami between September 3 and 12, held at venues such as O Cinema South Beach, Miami Beach Bandshell, and Silverspot Cinema. Created in 1996, Inffinito reaches its 30th consecutive edition in Miami as one of the main events for the promotion of Brazilian cinema abroad. Throughout its trajectory, the Inffinito Circuit has held over 110 festivals around the world and screened more than 3,000 films in cities such as New York, London, Vancouver, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, and Shanghai.
One of the highlights of the virtual program is a tribute to Glória Pires, with eight films starring the actress, including "O Quatrilho", "Lula, o Filho do Brasil", "Flores Raras", "A Suspeita", "Índia, a Filha do Sol", "Pequeno Dicionário Amoroso 2", "Primo Basílio", and "É Proibido Fumar". The Cinebiografia Showcase is also an attraction, bringing together six documentaries about Brazilian cultural personalities such as "Canecão – Tantas Emoções", "Fernanda Abreu – Da Lata 30 Anos", and "Rei da Noite".
The 30 Years Showcase revisits productions that marked the festival's trajectory and received the Crystal Lens Trophy, including "O Auto da Compadecida", "Cazuza – O Tempo Não Para", "Os Normais", "O Invasor", "Medida Provisória
