The Emraizart Festival holds its fifth edition at Cotifo, in Lagos, between October 6 and 13, dedicated this year to multiculturalism. The event is promoted by the Lagos Experimental Theatre (TEL) and combines sustainability, nature and art through the crossing between tradition and contemporary creation, bringing together national and international artists.
During the weekdays, children from schools, institutions and social projects participate in performances, itinerant animation and workshops on circus, creative construction, permaculture and theatre. On October 10 and 11, the festival opens to the general public with training on dramaturgy for children and dramatic body mime.
The program also includes conversations, music with DJ Kali, circus performances, mime and physical theatre, concerts with the Sambambas group, and three creation processes resulting from artistic residencies held at TEL under the "Bora Cultura" program, dedicated to supporting local artists. In total, the event includes 35 art and nature workshops, 21 performances and two conversations.
Daily tickets cost 12 euros for adults and seven euros for children from three to 12 years old.
