The Mediterranean Gardens Fair returned to Lagoa with a special focus on sustainability. The event, which took place again in this Portuguese town, brought with it several activities related to the theme of gardening adapted to the Mediterranean climate.
The fair's program includes expert advice, practical workshops, informative lectures and plant sales. All these elements were designed to guide visitors in creating and maintaining gardens that adapt to Mediterranean climate conditions, thus contributing to more sustainable practices.
Among the plants available at the fair, highlight goes to those that are naturally adapted to the Mediterranean climate, that is, resistant to water scarcity and the high temperatures characteristic of this region. This selection aims to promote local biodiversity and efficiency in the use of water resources.
Entry to the event costs one euro, making the fair accessible to all those interested in learning more about sustainable gardening. The content was first published by the Barlavento newspaper.
