The parliamentary leader of the PS, Eurico Brilhante Dias, criticized the management of the Ministry of Education and considered that Minister Fernando Alexandre is a candidate to be recognized as a bad minister. The statement comes in a context of political tensions related to the lack of placement of hundreds of students in schools.
Brilhante Dias pointed out that the hundreds of students without placement result from government disorganization. This disorganization is attributed to the elimination of intermediate coordination structures, which complicated the management of the educational system.
The PS position comes following a week marked by criticism of the Education portfolio, with the Socialists demanding explanations about the situation of students who still cannot find a place in schools.
