Two vessels suspected of drug trafficking were seized last night during coastal control operations. One of the vessels was intercepted in the Algarve and another in Almada.
More than a dozen people were detained as part of these operations. The authorities suspect that the vessels were involved in drug trafficking activities.
The seizures resulted from inspection and coastal control operations carried out by the competent authorities. The vessels were seized and the detained persons will be subject to judicial proceedings.
