The Durial Classical Orchestra closed yesterday the summer cultural program at the Rio Teixeira Riverside Area, in Mesão Frio, with an outdoor concert that attracted large crowds to the space.

During a week of activities in the municipality, the musicians contacted different audiences and brought music to various spaces in the community. They performed for users of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Mesão Frio at the facilities in Santo André and Barqueiros, participated in the weekly market and at the Mesão-Frienses Meeting.

One of the highlights occurred at the end of the concert, when the Orchestra paid tribute to local artist Marante, performing the piece "Garçom." During their stay, the musicians were accommodated at the Antiga Residência de Estudantes, with breakfasts and snacks provided by the Junta de Freguesia de Santo André and meals provided by the Santa Casa da Misericórdia.
