Music will cross the Atlantic and arrive in Alcains on September 18th. The Cultural Center of Alcains will be the stage for a unique concert that promises to unite musical traditions from Portugal and Brazil.
The event will bring together Portuguese and Brazilian musicians on the same stage, creating an encounter between Portuguese and Brazilian violas. Both instruments, although with distinct characteristics, share origins and traditions that span centuries of musical history.
This concert is part of a cultural programming that aims to promote the exchange between musical traditions from different countries. The initiative offers the audience the opportunity to learn about and appreciate the distinct sounds of the two versions of the instrument.
