The Lagos CDS-PP local branch advocates that public service should go beyond minimum task compliance, through a voluntary attitude of support for citizens, without exceeding rules or the limits of each role. In a statement titled "Serving is doing more", signed by Miguel Silva, the party proposes recovering the so-called "principle of also", meaning the willingness to provide additional help to those seeking State services. The leader argues that each contact with a public service can influence citizens' trust in the State, giving examples such as explaining the next steps to avoid unnecessary trips or directing citizens to the appropriate entity. Miguel Silva also extends the appeal to businesses, associations and families, concluding that "also doing what we can to help others is service".
