With the start of the new school year, the Territorial Command of Bragança of the GNR is reinforcing the "Safe School" campaign, which includes prevention and awareness actions aimed at students, families, and education professionals. The initiative aims to promote safe behaviors on the way to school and raise awareness about various risks affecting young people.
The campaign specifically addresses the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying, as well as the dangers associated with the use of the internet and social media. The GNR advises students to adopt responsible behaviors on their school commute, not to ignore bullying situations, and to think before sharing content online.
To parents and guardians, the GNR makes an appeal to monitor the school and digital activities of young people, remaining attentive to any behavioral changes that may indicate situations of violence or peer harassment.
The Territorial Command of Bragança emphasizes the importance of proximity with the school community for the promotion of safety, risk prevention, and education for citizenship throughout the entire school year.
