The construction work for the rehabilitation of the Biscoitos school, in the municipality of Praia da Vitória, in the Azores, was awarded for over one million euros. The contract has already been signed between the Regional Government of the Azores and the company responsible for the work.

The intervention aims to modernize the school's facilities and correct degradation problems identified in the building. The goal is to provide better conditions for the students and staff who use the school space.

The announcement was made by the Government of the Azores, through a press release. The regional executive is formed by the coalition PSD/CDS-PP/PPM. The newspaper acores9.pt was the first media outlet to report this award.
